Andy is a college student who loves sports. One day, he accidentally found a small white spot on his arm while taking a shower. At first, he just thought he's skin is dry, therefore didn't pay much attention. He just applied some moisturizer and forgot about it.

Days passed, and the small white spot not only did not disappear, but gradually expanded, and the colour became more obvious. Andy's friends occasionally mentioned it, and he just smiled and said it was a minor problem and didn't take it seriously. Until one day, the white spot began to be accompanied by slight itching and peeling and even affected his daily life. Andy finally decided to go to the hospital for an examination. The doctor's serious diagnosis was like a bolt from the blue - it was the early symptoms of vitiligo, and due to delayed treatment, the disease had already developed. Andy realized that his negligence almost caused a disaster. From that day on, he actively faced treatment, adjusted his lifestyle, and also used his experience to remind people around him.

There is no need to worry too much about white spots on the skin. The subtle changes in the skin, like the ever-changing scenery in nature, hide countless stories and secrets. They may be a small rebellion in the kingdom of skin, led by the stubborn general psoriasis, the emotional artist eczema, or the mysterious traveller vitiligo. Vitiligo, the invisible painter on the skin, causes the quiet loss of melanin, outlining endless "white deserts" on the skin. This is not a simple fading of colour, but the melanocytes, those little craftsmen who once diligently wove the colour of the skin, encountered misfortune and were mistaken for invaders by their immune system, and were ruthlessly attacked and destroyed. The truth behind this is still shrouded in layers of fog, waiting for scientific exploration and revelation.

What is even more regrettable is that vitiligo seems to be inextricably linked to fate. Among those unfortunate souls who are chosen, one-third of them can find similar traces in their family veins - the family history of vitiligo is like an invisible chain that tightly connects several generations. What is even more surprising is that it is often accompanied by other immune system diseases, such as the sudden visit of alopecia areata, the subtle imbalance of the thyroid gland, the sweet trap of diabetes, the heavy footsteps of Addison's disease, and the pale shadow of pernicious anaemia. They are like uninvited guests, quietly invading every corner of the body, and together weaving a complex and subtle picture of health.

When the sun shines down as gently or warmly as golden silk, for those with vitiligo, especially those with fair skin, choosing a sunscreen with a sun protection factor of at least 30 is like putting on a layer of invisible armour for your skin. This armour is not only tough but can also effectively resist UVA and UVB, the two "invisible assassins" of the ultraviolet family. They try to erode your skin silently, but they cannot escape under this layer of protection. Sunscreen, this loyal guard, silently guards every inch of your skin, preventing it from suffering from the pain of sunburn and long-term accumulated damage, allowing your skin to breathe freely in the sun without worries.

Folic acid, vitamin B12 and vitamin C are not only the foundation of the body but also the secret weapons of skin self-repair and regeneration. They shuttle between cells, promote the healthy growth of pigment cells, and give the skin a more even and natural colour. Ginkgo supplements, with their unique antioxidant and blood circulation-promoting abilities, allow the skin to gradually restore its former vitality and radiance under the baptism of time.
